Varanasi is also known as Banaras and Kashi. This city is the oldest and continuously moving city in the world. This city is called the city of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is the chief deity of the Hindus who are considered as symbols of creation and destruction. Varanasi is one of the most sacred cities of Hinduism. This city is also situated in the Varanasi Hindu University, whose campus remains in a very peaceful environment. This university is formerly called Oxford. This city is famous for classical dance, music and yoga.

By Road:-


For Varanasi many buses from the state like Lucknow (8 hours), Kanpur (9 hours) and Allahabad (3 hours) etc. are easily available. Varanasi's journey by bus can be a bit unsubstantiated, so do not plan to go by bus to Benaras. Rail or Flight is the best way to visit Varanasi.
